How it works

We create a low-cost network of smart controllers in your house.  Each thermal storage device has a "slave" controller linked by a dedicated Wi-Fi network to a "master" controller.

The "master" controller knows when the sun sets and rises on every day and from this and other factors, such the need to keep fridge operational into the evening, it determines when to shut power off and turn it back on for each thermal storage device.

There is a web interface to the "master" controller so you can override the system if needed.

When your solar panels are pumping out extra power, our system lets your hot water cylinder heat up. It's like storing energy as hot water – ready for showers and dishes later, instead of sending it off to the grid.

Chill out with solar

We can 'pre-cool' your fridge or freezer when solar generation is high. They'll stay cool overnight without power.
